(D7) On (Ddim) a (G) day like today, We (Am) pass the time a- (A7) way
writing (D7) love letters (Am) in (Cm) the (G) sand
(D7) How you (G) laughed when I cried (Eflat 7) each (Am) time I saw the (A7)
tide
take our (D7) love letters (A7) in (D7) the (G) sand.
You made a (B7) vow that you would (Em) always be true.
But some (A7) how that vow meant (D7) nothing to you.
(C#dim)Now my (G) poor heart just aches with (Am) every wave it
(A7) breaks
Over (D7) love letters (A7) in (D7) the (G) sand.
I'm an amature guitar player .. the man who wrote this music was a music
teacher in a grade school. ÊÊThere were a COUPLE of extra odd chords I left
out that don't see necessary, but if you want them, I'll try scanning the
music and sendig it. ÊIt seems to "roll" ok with the chords I gave you (and I
don't play Cm or diminished chords!) ÊIf you don't care, I'll keep your name
in my address book, and if I ever can't find a song maybe I'll ask you! :)
